phData, a Big Data consulting and managed services firm, is continuing its rapid growth with an expansion of its India subsidiary, phData Solutions Private Limited. As part of the expansion, phData has named Balbir Singh as the Director of India Operations, further accelerating phData’s long term growth strategy for India.
An Expansion to Meet Demand
With increasing customer demand for Big Data solutions, this expansion comes at the right time. This expansion will triple phData’s current capacity and allow more customers access to phData’s 24×7 support and solutions.

The expanded team will be headquartered at 91Springboard, an innovative coworking space located in the heart of Bangalore. In addition to standard amenities, the office features a comfortable atmosphere with an open floor plan and a game area.

Balbir Singh has spent the last eight years working for a multinational mass media firm, leading its Technical Support and Product Infrastructure Team. He was also a Senior Technical Lead on numerous projects involved in Enterprise Search and Data Retrieval, supporting over 20 online applications across the company. Prior to that, he led partner application projects involving maintenance, enhancement, and product development at a global information technology firm.
